Maastricht student accomodation

I would reccomend to any students looking to find accomodation in maastricht NOT to go anywhere near the website recommended by the university, http://www.maastrichthousing.com, it requires an inordinately expensive upfront payment and is a generally useless website. the majority of apartments advertised on this website as available were not available and they sent me details through for lots of flats outside of maastricht for girls only, when my search profile that they made me create clearly states that i am a man looking for a flat in central maastricht. i have had much more luck with the website http://www.erasmate.com aswell as http://www.housinganywhere.com. i hope this helps anyone looking for rentals in maastricht and saves them the stress of the university recommended website.
