The Hogeschool Zeeland (HZ University of Applied Sciences) is a medium-sized university located in the South West of the Netherlands on the coastline. The main goal of the HZ University of Applied Sciences is making all students to be able to deal effectively with living in a multicultural society and preparing them for a challenging career.
Level of Education
The HZ is a University of Applied Sciences, meaning the education focuses on preparing its students for specific professions. The programmes of study at the university are focused on competences and practice. Next to usual lectures, you will go on field trips, have guest lectures, do practical assignments and make company visits to prepare you in the best way possible for your future career. When you have finished your education at the HZ University of Applied Sciences you will receive a bachelor degree.
