Study at the The Hague University (scholarships, grants and fellowships)

The Hague University is focused on the knowledge economy. According to the university “knowledge is the new international currency. Social institutions, companies, governments and other organisations influenced by the knowledge economy and the knowledge society face new challenges”. To make sure the graduates from the university are capable of dealing with this new labour market students are fully prepared to be part of it. To do this, the university tries to give students practical knowledge and insight to let them translate this into new and creative solutions and innovations. The university tries to achieve this by making its students curious and giving them a desire to learn by applied research, lectures and professional partnerships. This way, students will have practical knowledge and are able to use this in their jobs as soon as they graduate from university.

Level of Education

The Hague University is a university of applied sciences. It is an institution where you can study for specific professions and it is focused on competences instead of research.

Scholarships

The Hague University of applied sciences does not offer a scholarship to international students. However international students have several other options of finding a scholarship. For example, American students can apply for a Fulbright scholarship and South African students can apply for an EU-South Africa scholarship. In short, the university advises you to look for a scholarship in your home country.

International student programmes

According to the website of the university “the international office is responsible for all non-academic matters concerning international students”. So, whenever you have any problems regarding practical matters you can turn to the international office.
