i’m interested in the Master’s in International Finance program in the University of AMsterdam. Anybody with info on the quality of the course, the recognition and reputation of the univerisity and future job prospects for the course may oplease respond. Also i’d like to know more about the new policy for knowledge migrants , keeping in mind that i’m from outside the EU.
You might want to check out http://www.agbs.nl/mif/ as this is referenced on the English website of the University of Amsterdam as the Master program for International Finance.
I do not know the quality of the course, however the reputation of the University of Amsterdam is quite okay. You can ask specific details or questions you may have about the course at the website I mentioned. You can get their emailaddress there 🙂
Hope this helps!
I just wanted to tell you about GIMUN, although I know it’s not in the Netherlands it may still be interesting to international students here:
The GIMUN is a bilingual simulation of United Nations conferences on a high academic level. It is organised by students for students and takes place in the « Palais des Nations », the old headquarters of the League of Nations and currently the United Nation’s Office at Geneva. The GIMUN provides experience in the fields of diplomacy, journalism, translation and interpretation, event management and more. Intercultural exchange, personal contacts and lots of fun combine to create the very special atmosphere during the conferences as well as during the social events.
This year GIMUN will take place between February 26 and March 4. You may still be able to signup. But I am not sure. Never hurts to try 🙂 Otherwise signup for the Dutch version: TEIMUN in July.
